Moorings has been recently completely re-furbished as a holiday home so the standard is as high as you will find as well as being homely and comfortable. There is a large secure garden to the rear with mature trees and shrubs and total privacy guaranteed for those summer evening barbecues after a day sailing, wind surfing, waterskiing, surfing, cycling or just lazing about on the huge sandy beaches that Rock and Daymer Bay keep so secret. Polzeath is just under 2 miles from Moorings and provides the surfing culture and lifestyle that brings people back year after year to enjoy the sport and it's laid back atmosphere. 4 modern adult bikes are provided for your enjoyment (no helmets provided), as cycling down to and up from the beaches at Rock or to cross on the Padstow Ferry to explore this enchanting famous fishing port is easy and only takes a few minutes from Moorings brilliant location. The Camel trail is a delight to cycle and opens up the views of the camel estuary at their best. We are near to the excellent St Enedoc golf course at Rock and a 50min drive from The Eden Project.
UPSTAIRS: Three bedrooms: one king-size double with wardrobe and drawers, one large twin room (3' & 4' beds) with the same and one bunk room with chunky 3' pine bunks and chest of drawers. A sofa-bed in the lounge will provide another two sleeping spaces if required. Bathroom with bath & shower head, toilet, sink and airing cupboard.
DOWNSTAIRS: Large welcoming hall with stairs leading off. Light airy kitchen with wooden floors leading to big utility room and extra bathroom on ground floor with shower, toilet and sink. Off the hall there is a large dining room leading through double doors to a sunny sitting room which looks out over the mature garden and private lawn. Double doors lead from the dining room and sitting room onto a suntrap area of decking which then steps down to the level lawn and garden. Off road parking for up to three cars and space for your own boat if needed. A garage houses the bikes and provides further storage space for beach or surfing gear. Moorings is available all year round and has oil-fired heating for those cooler winter breaks. The peace and tranquillity of the area should not be underestimated and yet all the facilities for a great British summer holiday are on your doorstep.
